The Spring Hill UCC Good News Team welcomes you! Stop at our Welcome  and Information table in the narthex and say hello! Here we have information on the United Church of Christ denomination as well as our own Spring Hill UCC and its ministries. Hospitality

The Hospitality Ministry Team  is responsible for Fellowship Hour,  held after our Sunday morning Church service. Hosts/hostesses serve coffee, cold drinks and delicious goodies. It is a time to have fellowship and fun with new and old members and friends. Our responsibility is also organizing many events and activities throughout the year, which are two Rummage Sales & Outside Flea Markets. Oktoberfest, and our Christmas Bazaar and Cookie Walk. All are welcome to attend to find bargains, sample our fine food and just have fun. See our Church calendar for dates and times of these events.



Building & Grounds

The Building and Grounds Team is responsible for Building maintenance, landscaping, care of church property, energy task force, oversee emergency building repairs and long-range planning for capital improvements.

Stewardship

Our Stewardship Team is responsible for:

1. Encouraging the congregation in the area of Christian Stewardship, including the presentation of the opportunities and rewards for sharing time, talent and money with the church community.

2. Conducting annual fundraising drives for support of the budget and special capital fundraising campaigns.

3. Developing an annual budget, in conjunction with the Pastor, Moderator, Treasurer and Financial Secretary to present to the Council and Congregation.

Worship

​​​​​​​The Worship team is responsible for: - obtaining ushers, greeters, liturgists and acolytes, - making sure we have flowers for the altar each Sunday, - obtain a supply pastor for a Sunday when our pastor cannot be there, - decorating the sanctuary and narthex for various holidays throughout the year,  changing the banners in the sanctuary when appropriate, - putting the flowers and candles on the altar for Sunday service, memorial service or wedding, - Taking items off the altar after the service and clean the holders before putting them away, and -making sure there are prayer cards and memorial cards available at all times.
