Blessing Bag Update
April 29, 2018 is Blessing Bag collection Sunday. This collection will allow us to refill items the students will need over the summer months. Last year we distributed 326 Blessing Bags. We have plenty of tooth brushes and tooth paste donated by Spring Hill Family Dental. If you are able to help, here is what we need:
· antibacterial wipes,
· bar soap
· Shampoo & conditioner (all in one) to minimize the extra space with separate bottles)
· Feminine hygiene products
Please note: we can no longer supply mouthwash that has alcohol in it because alcohol consumption is a concern.
There is a collection box in the Narthex near the hallway to the Nursery.
At last count there are 530 youth in our county. On your behalf, we will continue to identify homeless and other youth in need in Hernando County, and provide them with these important personal care items. The Blessing Bag project is looking forward to helping more of our youth in the year to come.
On behalf of the Social Justice Team, Thank you!
