We work with Heifer Project International helping people provide animals for villages in Third World and Developing Countries.

SHUCC is among the first responders with Disaster Relief nationally and internationally, working intimately with Church World Service

SHUCC’s wider mission provides support of worship, education, witness to justice and peace; plus many cooperating in other ministries of the UCC in Florida and around the world, including ordaining clergy and helping in their placement, plus these four annual emphases:

• Neighbors in Need—ministries at home
• The Christmas Fund—supporting clergy and their families in need
• One Great Hour of Sharing—ministries worldwide
• Strengthen the Church—strengthening and renewing existing congregations,
     funding for new congregations.

Locally, we provide meeting space for community organizations and worship space for other Christian congregations.
