Sunday, March 22nd will be our St. Patrick's Day potluck after service.

"God is Still Speaking," and often, that voice has the strength and grace of a woman.
This March, we honor the women who have shaped the United Church of Christ—from Antoinette Brown, the first woman ordained in a major American denomination, to the women of Spring Hill UCC who lead our ministries and outreach today.
At Spring Hill UCC, we believe in an "extravagant welcome," a tradition built by women who refused to accept that any door should be closed.
Whether through the Community Outreach Ministry or leadership in our pews, the women of our church carry forward a legacy of justice, compassion, and bold faith.
Pray with me:
Gracious God, we thank You for the women of our past who paved the way and the women of our present who keep our spirit vibrant. May we continue to follow their example of radical love and inclusion. Amen.
Pastor Kurt’s Bible study group will meet in Conference Room in the Sanctuary at 6:00 pm.
The Loaves and Fishes Ministry will be giving away free food to those in need from 9 am to 11 am. Volunteers please arrive by 8 am.

We are updating our church directory through March. Whether you are a member or a friend of the church, we extend a warm welcome to be in our directory! Billie Mcham will be taking the photos from 9 to 9:30 am before church and updating the information.

We are always looking for volunteers to help lead church functions. Please contact the church office if you have time to lend a hand in any of the following areas:
The St. Pauly Clothing Shed in the rear of the church collects gently used clothing and other items for families in need. Please donate clothing, shoes, belts, purses, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, curtains, and stuffed animals. Please do not bring electronics, books, household items, toys, pillows, garbage, rags or fabric scraps.
Glass Recycling: We now accept glass for recycling! Hernando County currently does not accept glass for recycling. SHUCC has found an organization in Citrus County that recycles glass. Recycling glass is open to our congregation and people in the community who would like to participate. Please thoroughly rinse glass before placing it in the proper bin located behind the dumpster on the back of the property. Recycling helps our environment! Broken glass is not accepted!
The Music Ministry is currently looking for more musicians to share their talents with the congregation. Contact Angela or Will for more information.
If you have information for this newsletter or the church calendar, please see Alice Zawacki or Cheyenne Dziekan on Sundays or send an email.
