On Sunday, December 7th, the annual congregational meeting will be held to elect board members for several important positions:
Stewardship is more than supporting the financial needs of the church, it is about giving of your time and talent. The life-blood of our Church is new ideas and visions. All of these positions are important to maintaining and growing Spring Hill United Church of Christ.
If you are interested in serving in one of these leadership positions, please fill out an nomination card this Sunday and put it in the collection plate. You will then be contacted to learn more about how you may serve.
Tomorrow, Saturday, November 15th from Noon - 4pm: our Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry is open from 9 - 11am to distribute food to families in need. Volunteers should arrive at 8am to help set-up.
Sunday, November 16th: our weekly service begins at 10am. If you cannot attend, you are invited to join our live Zoom webcast.
Friday, November 21st at 7pm: there will be a Trans Remembrance Day evening prayer service in the Sanctuary.
Sunday, November 23rd at 11:30am: the “Hanging of the Greens” will deck the halls of the Sanctuary for the holidays.

Saturday, November 29th: Our Adopt-a-Road team will spruce-up the roads around the church starting at 7am.

Sunday, November 30th: this will be the first Sunday of Advent. Join us for our Sunday service at 10am. The Community Outreach Meeting will be in the Choir Room at 11:30am. Also, the Community Outreach Ministry meets in the Choir Room at 11:30am.
Friday, December 19th at 7pm: there will be a Blue Christmas Evening Prayer service in the Sanctuary.
The Spring Hill Elementary School Angel Tree program will collect toys and donations for 20 students at Christmas. The Senior Care Center giving program will benefit 10 people. We are also planning a Sing-a-Long for Christmas at the Opal senior care center.
Preparations are also underway for our annual Christmas cookie walk and basket raffle.
We are always looking for volunteers to help lead church functions. Please contact the church office if you have time to lend a hand in one of the following areas:
The Stewardship Ministry thanks everyone who returned their Pledge Cards. We are now working on projecting the expenses for 2026. Pledge Cards will be available at the Reception Desk on Sunday, so please consider volunteering for a church ministry this week.
The St. Pauly Clothing Shed in the rear of the church collects gently used clothing and other items for families in need. Please donate clothing, shoes, belts, purses, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, curtains, and stuffed animals. Please do not bring electronics, books, household items, toys, pillows, garbage, rags or fabric scraps.
Sunday service greeters, welcome desk attendants, and liturgists can volunteer by signing up at the welcome desk in the church lobby on Sunday.
