There is a lot happening this weekend at SHUCC:
Saturday, October 26th, 2024 - Trunk or Treat is 5 - 7pm at the church. Decorate the derrière of your vehicle and join us as we treat kids from all over Spring Hill during this annual tradition.
We have some snapshots of past Trunk or Treat events on our Facebook page. Select Photos to browse through our church image archive.

Our friends at Volunteer Way in Port Richey have rescheduled the Hunger Awareness Quarter Auction for Friday, November 1st at 6pm.
It’s not too late to put together baskets for the auction. Volunteer Way actively supports our Loaves & Fishes ministry, so please help out if you can… then attend the auction in November in Port Richey.
Sunday, November 3rd - the Hospitality ministry team will be hosting a bake sale fundraiser after the Sunday service. Please bring small bills (ones and fives) to purchase baked goods to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Tuesday, November 5th - election day will finally be here. Whether you typically vote ahead of time or in person, we encourage everyone to make a plan to vote so your voice is heard.
Friday, November 8th - please save the date for a dinner sponsored by the Men’s Club. Tickets are $20 per person.
The Food for Thought initiative collects healthy snacks for Spring Hill Elementary School (SHES). We need large boxes of: cereal (e.g. Honey Nut Cheerios) and snacks (e.g. Pretzels, Goldfish, or Animal Crackers). Please drop off donated items in the Food for Thought bin in the church lobby.
Do you know of a community group that needs meeting space, or maybe a local family looking for a central location to host a wedding or reception? Spring Hill UCC offers abundant rental space at reasonable rates. Proceeds fund church operations.
Got something that’s been on your mind? Pastor Jennifer invites you to Ask Any Question using the message board in the church lobby.
The St. Pauly Clothing Shed in the rear of the church collects gently used clothing and other items for families in need. Please donate clothing, shoes, belts, purses, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, curtains, and stuffed animals. Please do not bring electronics, books, household items, toys, pillows, garbage, rags or fabric scraps.
We have volunteer opportunities for Sunday service greeters, welcome desk attendants, and liturgists. You can learn more and sign-up at the welcome desk in the church lobby on Sunday.
If you have information for this newsletter or the church calendar, please see Alice Zawacki on Sundays or send an email.
