Tomorrow, Saturday, September 7 - the Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry will be distributing food to families in need from 9 - 11am. Volunteers should arrive at Davis Hall at 8am to help with set-up.

Sunday , September 8th -  our new Faith Formation and Bible Study classes begin at 9am:

• Children’s Faith Formation class will be in the Sanctuary classroom.
  
• Exodus: A Journey from Enslavement to Liberation will be in the the Sanctuary conference room. The class examines Exodus through the lens of the Hebrew Masoretic text. Attendees should bring a folder for weekly handouts and worksheets, and can also bring a Bible to see how the Masoretic text compares.

• Unveiling Mary Magdalene: the Truth about a ‘Not-So-Bad Girl’ of the Bible will be in the Fellowship Hall Library.

All classes conclude in time for the start of our Sunday 10am worship service. If you still want to sign-up for classes, please contact the SHUCC office.

Also this Sunday, the Church Council is scheduled to meet at 11:30am after fellowship.

The Life Center of Hernando needs diapers size 1-6 and pull-ups size 2T, 3T, 4T, and 5T. There are currently 13 children in residence, with 12 of them under age 3. You can drop-off donations at the church. Cash donations will be accepted as well. For more details, you can contact the church office.

The Food for Thought initiative collects healthy snacks for Spring Hill Elementary School (SHES). We need large boxes of: cereal (e.g. Honey Nut Cheerios) and snacks (e.g. Pretzels, Goldfish, or Animal Crackers). Please drop off donated items in the Food for Thought bin in the church lobby.

Our Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry needs to replenish our stock of Cereal, Jelly, Ramen, Mac & Cheese, Soup, and Rice. Please place donated food in the Loaves & Fishes bin in the church lobby.

Tuesday, September 10 - the Environmental Outreach team meets at 7pm in the Sanctuary.

Friday, September 13 - it’s Movie Night at SHUCC. You are invited to join us at 6:30pm for a Disney movie, plus free popcorn and soft drinks. Wear comfy clothes and have a really great time leaving the stresses of the week behind.

Friday, September 27 - Our friends at Volunteer Way are having a Hunger Awareness Quarter Auction on the last Friday in September from 6 - 9pm at the New Port Richey Elks Lodge. Tickets are $20/person. Volunteer Way actively supports our Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, so please hold the date and attend the auction if you can.  Click on the poster for more information about the Quarter Auction.

Got something that’s been on your mind? Pastor Jennifer invites you to Ask Any Question using the message board in the church lobby.

We’re collecting gently used clothing at the St. Pauly Clothing Shed in the rear of the church. Please donate clothing, shoes, belts, purses, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, curtains, and stuffed animals. Please do not bring electronics, books, household items, toys, pillows, garbage, rags or fabric scraps.

We have volunteer opportunities for Sunday service greeters, welcome desk attendants, and liturgists. You can learn more and sign-up at the welcome desk in the church lobby on Sunday.
