Brightening the Season for Those in Need
The Community Outreach Ministry Team is once again supporting the Angel Tree Giving Project for Spring Hill Elementary School and The Senior Giving Tree.
On Sunday, November 24, three trees will be set up in the lobby with gift tags for all who have been identified for these holiday gifts. One tree will have tags for the 20 children who have been identified by the school’s administrative team to receive a gift of clothing and shoes. The tags will include the name, gender, grade level, sizes, and favorite color for each child. A second tree will have a tag with a wish-list item (toy, game, hobby, activity) for each child. A third tree will be set up with information/requests for seniors.
Please select a tag or tags, purchase the suggested items, and return the gifts to the church no later than Sunday, December 8. Members of the Community Outreach Ministry will be available to assist you in the process of selecting name(s) and filling out the sign-up sheet. Written directions will also be available regarding wrapping and tagging the gifts.
