The Giving Tree Project
Brightening the Season for Those in Need
The Community Outreach Ministry is once again supporting the Angel Tree Giving Project for Spring Hill Elementary School, and a Humane Society Giving Tree.
This Sunday, November 24th, trees will be set up in the church lobby with color-coded gift tags:
- Clothing & Shoes - tags for 20 children the SHES administrative team has identified as being in need of a gift of clothing or shoes. The tags will include the name, gender, and sizes for each child.
- Wish List Items - tags for a student’s wish-list (a toy, game, hobby, activity).
- New - Just for Pets - tags to show support for our local Humane Society.
Please select a tag (or tags), purchase the suggested items, and return the gifts to the church with the tag no later than Sunday, December 8th.
Community Outreach Ministry members will be available to assist you in the process of selecting name(s) and filling out the sign-up sheet. Written directions will also be available regarding wrapping and tagging the gifts.
If you are unable to go shopping, members of the Community Outreach Ministry will be happy to receive your donation and shop for you. Please contact the church office if you have any questions.
