Merry Christmas from Spring Hill United Church of Christ
We thought we would start this week’s newsletter wishing that your Christmas be filled with hope, peace, joy and love. May you also get some time off to enjoy good food, great company, and plenty of well-deserved rest.
You’re invited to join us this Sunday at 10am for the fourth Sunday of Advent. We also hope you can attend a special Christmas Eve service that we have planned for December 24th at 7pm. We look forward to seeing you!
Today, Wednesday, December 18th - the Ladies Luncheon is scheduled for Noon at the Wellington.

Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24th at 7pm - we’ve got a special Christmas Eve service planned, so when you’re finished with your last minute gift wrapping, please join us in the Sanctuary. We’ll also webcast the Christmas Eve service live on Zoom.
Sunday, December 29th at 10am - we will have a special guest leading the final service of the calendar year.
January 5th at Noon - there will be a memorial service for Otto Saalborn in the Sanctuary.

Our Technology Team is looking for volunteers to help with various technical tasks during services and memorials:
We offer training for all the above tasks. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the church office:
Our Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry needs donations of Cereal, Soup, Jelly, Ramen, and Mac and Cheese. Donate food using the drop-off location in the church lobby.
The Food for Thought initiative collects healthy snacks for Spring Hill Elementary School (SHES). We need large boxes of cereal (e.g. Honey Nut Cheerios) and snacks (e.g. Pretzels, Goldfish, or Animal Crackers). Please drop off donated items in the Food for Thought bin in the church lobby.
The St. Pauly Clothing Shed in the rear of the church collects gently used clothing and other items for families in need. Please donate clothing, shoes, belts, purses, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, curtains, and stuffed animals. Please do not bring electronics, books, household items, toys, pillows, garbage, rags or fabric scraps.
We have volunteer opportunities for Sunday service greeters, welcome desk attendants, and liturgists. You can learn more and sign up at the welcome desk in the church lobby on Sunday.
