Our New Facebook Page

We have moved our Facebook page to a new location so we can provide you with more news, photos and videos about church activities.

The new page has our "blue” comma logo, a colorful "God's Doors Are Open to All" photo, and says “Spring Hill United Church of Christ” at the top.

The old page has the rainbow logo and the word “The” in the title. We'll keep the old page going for a few months until everyone switches over, so please be sure to visit our new Facebook page so you can stay up to date about church happenings.

Instructions

From a Laptop or Desktop Computer:

If you use a PC or Mac laptop or desktop computer to access Facebook, you're probably using a web browser such as Chrome, Edge or Safari. If so, open your web browser and login to your personal Facebook page as normal. Then, follow these steps:

In the top left, look for the Search Facebook bubble.
In that bubble, type Spring Hill United Church of Christ.
As you type, you should see a list of Facebook pages appear below the bubble.
Click on Spring Hill United Church of Christ with the blue logo.
You should be taken to our new Facebook page. At the top, you will see our "God's Doors Are Open To All" photo.
We suggest that you bookmark the new page location so you can go back there easily.

From a Mobile Phone or Tablet:

If you use a smart phone or tablet, you're probably using the Facebook mobile device app. If so, open the app and login to your personal Facebook page as normal. Then, follow these steps:

In the top right, click on the search icon that looks like a magnifying glass.
When the search bubble opens, type Spring Hill United Church of Christ.
As you type, you should see a list of Facebook pages appear below the bubble.
Click on Spring Hill United Church of Christ with the blue logo to go to our new page.
You should be taken to our new Facebook page with where you will see a "God's Doors Are Open To All" photo at the top. If you don't see the photo and you see our rainbow logo, you've accidentally clicked on the old site. No worries, just repeat the steps above.

If you're not using the Facebook app, chances are you're actually using a web browser on your mobile device instead. If so, see above.

Liking & Following our Facebook Page

Congratulations! If you've made it this far, you're a bona fide social media expert!

We would appreciate it if you would hit the “Like” button our new Facebook page. The button is a thumbs-up icon with the word Like next to it. This action enables social media networking functions like posting your reactions to our content, as well as sending us messages.

Clicking the Like button tells Facebook that the content on our page is of interest to you and that you want to follow developments at Spring Hill UCC going forward. Facebook has made it so that Liking a page has the desirable effect of automatically making you a Follower of that page as well.

How to "Like" our New Page

Once you click the Like icon on our new Facebook page, you can reply to posts with things like emoji icons and comments. For help with that, click below.
